About The Jonathan Project

At The Jonathan Project we seek to Glorify God in all we do (1 Cor 10:31), Provide sound Biblical counsel to the body of Christ (Ro 15:14), Be a counseling resource for the local church. (1Thess 2:11-13)

The Jonathan Project is a Nouthetic Counseling Ministry that uses the Holy Bible to counsel clients to live a life that glorifies God and finds joy in living for His glory.

The Jonathan Project is a ministry organization that accepts fees for services.

The Jonathan Project holds no affiliation with any specific church denomination or local church. We invite you to read our statement of faith.

At the Jonathan Project each of the counselors is individually accountable to The Jonathan Project, the individual counselor’s local church and that church’s leadership.

It is by design our counselors are not required to be registered or licensed by any government agency or secular organization. Counselees should know that we do not offer any legal or medical advice and that our counsel is from the Holy Scriptures of the Christian church, most commonly referred to as The Bible.

About The Jonathan Project’s Counselors

Susan Smith Bennett

A graduate from Stetson University’s Graduate Program of Marriage and Family Therapy; she furthered her training with the Biblical Counseling Institute of Garrettsville, OH where she studied for her certification through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). In 2016, Susan became licensed by the State of Florida as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT, MT3240).
Susan also serves as the Women’s Ministries Coordinator at Saint Andrews Chapel in Sanford, FL.

 

Charles A. Bennett

Charles studied at the Biblical Counseling Institute of Garrettsville, OH preparing him for certification through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Charles served on the biblical counseling team (Iron Sharpens Iron) at Parkside Church in suburban Cleveland, OH. He has been active as a Biblical Counselor for over 15 years.
